High School Latin I is for completely new Latin learners. The course covers the first half of Picta Dicta Latin Grammar 3 alongside the accompanying reader “Gesta Egberti.” This course utilizes “natural method” which means classes will be conducted in Latin as much as possible and translation into English is limited.
Class is split into two 45min sessions. The first session will cover new grammar and vocab and help students build familiarity with sentence building. The second session will cover the reading and will be discussion based, expecting students to engage with the story in Latin.
